LONDON, UK – November 23, 2006 –  Fresh off their sold out standing room only shows in Brazil, South America - Video Games Live makes it way across the pond to present the first ever symphonic video game music concert in the UK with the English National Ballet Symphony at the renowned Hammersmith Apollo in London this Saturday, November 25th at 7:30pm.  To commemorate the event, Video Games Live is pulling out all the stops and opening the doors early to present a pre-show festival from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

To start off the pre-show festival, Ubisoft will be giving away an exclusive limited edition soundtrack sampler CD to the first 3000 people to arrive at the show.  Featuring music from a diverse range of Ubisoft published games, including extracts from the award winning Myst® III Exile soundtrack (composed by Jack Wall), the groundbreaking Beyond Good & Evil (composed by Christophe Heral), Gearbox Software's epic Brothers in Arms™ series, plus hotly anticipated Christmas releases Red Steel™ (composed by Tom Salta) and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas (composed by Paul Haslinger).

Other pre-show festival activities include a Guitar Hero™ II competition as well as next generation consoles for the audience to experience and play for the first time.  Also included is the always entertaining costume contest where audience members will come dressed as their favorite video game characters.  Finalists will be judged on stage by the audience.

Prizes will be given away throughout the evening during several audience-interactive segments, starring one of the most beloved classic arcade games of all time, Frogger, as well as a live Space Invaders contest.  This unique interaction with a live symphony has only ever been attempted and performed at Video Games Live.  Grand prize includes a $2,500 AMD Ferrari laptop computer.
