First 3,000 people will recieve special limited edition Ubisoft/VGL album

London, UK– 20th November, 2006To celebrate Ubisoft's 20th Anniversary and the first UK performance of video game concert event Video Games Live, Ubisoft will be giving away an exclusive limited edition soundtrack sampler CD to the first 3000 people to arrive at the show.  The show, already a huge success in the US, will be taking place at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 25th November - for ticketing details see below.
Ubisoft has a long history of commissioning exceptionally talented artists to compose and produce music for their video games, and this sampler showcases that talent to the full.  Featuring music from a diverse range of Ubisoft published games, including extracts from the award winning Myst® III Exile soundtrack (composed by Jack Wall), the groundbreaking Beyond Good & Evil (composed by Christophe Heral), Gearbox Software's epic Brothers in Arms™ series, plus hotly anticipated Christmas releases Red Steel™ (composed by Tom Salta) and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas (composed by Paul Haslinger).
"Music is an incredibly important part of the gaming experience, and something Ubisoft takes very seriously" said Jon Rosenblatt, Ubisoft's UK Marketing Director, "With this in mind, we're thrilled to be involved in an event like Video Games Live which recognizes the importance of this creativity."
"It's great to have an amazing publisher like Ubisoft onboard," said Tommy Tallarico, co-creator and host of VGL, "We created Video Games Live not only to celebrate the industry for gamers, but also to show non-gamers how far the industry has come, and that video games should be taken seriously as an art form with a major cultural significance."
Video Games Live will be taking place at the Hammersmith Apollo on the 25th November; tickets can be booked through AEG at the following link:
