VGL Returns to Gen Con in Indianapolis!

VIDEO GAMES LIVE RETURNS TO GEN CON IN INDIANAPOLIS WITH THE INDIANAPOLIS SYMPHONY ON  SATURDAY, AUGUST 7TH AT THE CONSECO FIELDHOUSE WITH A WHOLE NEW SHOW!

Come and join the annual video game industry celebration in Indianapolis on Saturday night during Gen Con!  Experience Video Games Live: Bonus Round at the Conseco Fieldhouse with the Indianapolis Symphony on Saturday, August 7th at 7:30pm.  TICKETS AVAILABLE HERE!
 
And if you've seen Video Games Live before... fear not!  Aside from our classics like Mario, Halo, Castlevania and Final Fantasy, there will be a ton of new content that has never been performed in Indianapolis including music from the Warcraft, StarCraft II, Final Fantasy and Zelda franchises along with games like Megaman, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, Shadow of the Colossus, Interactive Frogger, Assassin's Creed II and Afrika.  There's even a Guitar Hero: Van Halen competition during the pre-show festival where the winner will perform live on stage with the orchestra and choir for incredible prizes!  And just because the concert is over doesn't mean the fun stops there!  All ticket holders are invited to the post show Meet & Greet with famous game composers and designers FREE OF CHARGE!

Come and hear legendary video game composer and creator of Video Games Live, Tommy Tallarico talk about video game audio production, how to get into the video game industry and the challenges and history of Video Games Live.  Tommy has been in the video game industry for over 20 years and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the person who has worked on the most video games in a lifetime (275).  Hear development stories about working on game franchises such as Earthworm Jim, Tony Hawk, Madden Football, the Unreal series, Sonic the Hedgehog and with game legend Shigeru Miyamoto on the Metroid Prime series.  Tommy will also discuss how to get into the video game industry and what it's like to travel around the world touring Video Games Live.  Tommy will also be showing never before seen footage of his national PBS Special and soon to be released DVD & Blu-Ray.  Question and answer period will follow.


And finally... Video Games Live soloist Laura "Flute Link" Intravia will be performing at the Video Games Live booth at Gen Con on Saturday, August 7th from 11am - 1pm.  The booth is located in the Food Court at the main entrance of Gen Con.
