Tommy at MAGFest!

MAGFest VII Taking Place in Alexandria, VA

Video game composer and Video Games Live co-creator, host & CEO Tommy Tallarico will be appearing and speaking at MAGFest, the biggest video game music fan celebration on the planet.  Now in it's seventh year, MAGFest is a video and computer gaming festival run by fans, for fans.  It's similar to most fan-based (anime, scifi, etc) conventions, but aims to be more of a laid-back video game party atmosphere.  No crowded show floors, but rather lots of fan art, film and music, and room to relax.  Game movies and cartoons are shown weekend-long.  In addition to the 10,000 square foot game room, lots of attendees set up games in their rooms and invite others inside.

Perhaps most importantly, MAGFest has a huge focus on game music -- multiple concerts worth -- filled with video game music tributes.  On Friday and Saturday nights multiple bands perform on the main stage, and the 'JamSpace' is open 24 hours for collaborative music and special treats alike.

The event will take place in Alexandria, VA at the Hilton Mark Center, from the 1st to the 4th of January.  Tommy will be giving a presentation on Saturday, January 3rd at 1PM in Panel Room 2.  There will be a Q&A session as well so please come by and say hi.  Tommy will also be on a game industry audio panel on Friday, January 2nd at 5PM in Panel Room 2.
