I don't complain being short, for it's really a bad time for me to get addicted to a game. xD I'd comlain if I had free time or if I'd bought the game, but since it was lend by a friend, I'll leave that complain to him. xD

So, I took the day off and exacted my revenge, by finally playing a bit of Final Fantasy XIII.
I find it a bit too much straightfoward to my taste. Lacks many RPG elements that were supposed to be trademark of Final Fantasy series. Also it annoys me the plot being presented in constant memos instead of presenting itself the old tradicional way. I didn't buy a full HD TV and the most powerful console in the market to read a novel. I like reading *books*, not games. Lost Odyssey was an exception, as it had little stories (very well) written and presented in an involving mood. Also played a little of MediEvil Ressurection... Ah, it brings me back...

But the lack of villages, free exploration, etc, etc, takes the spirit of it in my eyes. I wouldn't call it movie-ish... When you go to the cinema they don't contantly give you memos with important plot details that is not presented in the movie. I know it's difficult to present a complex story, but they've been doing that for more than 20 years, what's with the memos now? Edit: The character growing system seems cool though, reminds me of Final Fantasy X.

Finished playing Sonic Unleashed, thank LOG; the game was way too hard for all of the wrong reasons. At first I was forgiving, but as I went further and further into the game my frustration only grew more and more. Sorry for being a basher/complainer, but I am disappointed with the game.
Getting back to cutscenes, I liked them in Sonic Unleashed, but I absolutely hate the "Loading" screen. It kind of killed the moment when facing the last boss; it was like - do this, load, do that, load, do this, load.... "I like reading *books*, not games." - Then you should stay away from Super Paper Mario. There's probably wroser ones, but that was a lot of text for a Mario game. |

LOL
I never played any Paper Mario, I think I'll give it a try this summer though. Which version of Sonic Unleashed did you played, X360, Wii or PS3? I have the X360 one. I didn't find it all bad, but very far from SA and SA2. I think Sonic Team worried to much about graphics and presentation and not enough in gameplay. They also seem to forgot how to deal with speed, something they have mastered in SA2.

Well, I just finished Uncharted, and I enjoyed it to the point that I started playing Uncharted 2 right after.
Of course, this is helped by the fact that Greg Edmonson was basically like, "You really need to play Uncharted 2. They improved on everything in Uncharted 2 from the original game." |

Modnation Racers... this game is HARD, or at least, hard to complete the challenges. It's decent fun though, I'd recommend it.
Eternal Sonata (PS3) - c'mon, a JRPG where you can beat the crap out of monsters with Chopin? It's a winner. |

Agreed. I mean, it was basically a retelling of Indiana Jones in a sense. Not that it wasn't entertaining, but it wasn't quite that novel.
