Sry, but the first appearance of the name "Mario" was in 1983's Mario Bros...

If you wanna celebrate a notable anniversary this year, why not Jumpman's antagonist Donkey Kong?

An interesting discussion has emerged in this thread regarding whether or not it is acceptable to consider Jumpman and Mario to be one and the same. But I can't be alone in thinking this question in itself raises another, more probing and philosophical question, that being: who cares?

So far:
- TurboChickenMan
- METRO24

Celebrating Donkey Kong 30 anniversary it's great idea, but first apperance of the name ,,Mario'' was in arcade Donkey Kong Jr. (http://www.mariowiki.com/File:TwoMarios.png)

I've never played DK Jr. Good find.

30 years of Mario is still a year away, though...

After longer analysis of movie I think that on the credits sequence you can see S.S.B. (and other Mario games and not only games, not submitted in movie) gameplay for quite short time.
