Default What are you playing?

The first of two obvious threads for this subforum.

What games have people got on the go at the moment?

I'm learning the ropes of WarTech: Senko no Ronde - the hybrid fighter/danmaku shooter, and easily the weirdest game I own.

Also going through the first Ar Tonelico, which is alright.

I've just started playing Simon the Sorcerer 4: Chaos Happens, was waiting for it to come out for ages, somehow missed the actual release date and got it for less than £5 on ebay. So far its not too bad, not really a StS game because 90% of the voice actors have changed (again), but there have been a few familiar faces cropping up here and there (including my (read:Simon's) own, what's up with that?), so its not all bad.

Also, as soon as PayPal stops rejecting my card, I'll continue working my way through all of Telltale games episodic P&C adventures. Thanks to several free episodes Ive got from various points in time, buying them is cheaper than usual and as such the gameplay will be that much more enjoyable. Plus its ex-"golden age of LucasArts" guys, so can't complain.

Beyond that, also picked up Gazillionaire 3 (because my copy of deluxe doesn't work with XP/Vista), which is a surprisingly addictive interstellar business sim. Still haven't figured out most of its nuances, but I figure doing it on the easiest setting with really daft computer opponents should put me in reasonable stead for eventually winning the game....

Due to time constraints (AKA school), I'm just replaying Kingdom Hearts for my own enjoyment (and to beat Sephiroth this time around).

I've been playing Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts lately.
A HIGHLY underrated game, one of my favourite RARE games actually...

Also had a quick go on Blue Dragon, not so bad, I like the boss music.

Get ready for a really ass-kicking fight!

Also... have you ever counted how many life bars he has? If not, do it and you'll have an idea of the time it takes to defeat the bastard.

Don't worry, I got him my 10th try.

And I love his invisible life bar. But doesn't the Sephiroth in KH2 have a longer health bar?

Yes (6 bars of 300 HP each vs. 15 bars of 200 HP each), but I think he's a bit easier than in KH1. Of course, he's not stacked behind a gigantic Coliseum run anymore, the battle area is quite a big larger, and Sora's individual capabilities are far more impressive than in the first game.

That one was included in it, yes.
