During the KH music : Hikari, why not put a Kingdom Hearts video instead of Walt Disney Video in order to link up

It's a longstanding copyright issue with Square-Enix. Specifically, they won't allow images from their games displayed during VGL, hence the blank screen during One Winged Angel.

Originally the VGL folks had an elaborate Final Fantasy suite arranged, but Square-Enix - considering VGL to be "competition" in their own words - refused them the right to perform it. Fortunately, due to it being a Disney collaboration, VGL were still able to obtain the rights to perform a Kingdom Hearts suite, but Square-Enix blocked the use of any in-game footage. The Disney archive footage you see is VGL's cunning workaround.

They seem to have relaxed their grip on the rights a little now though, since VGL is allowed to perform One Winged Angel (albeit sans video), and for yet longer has been able to host Martin Leung's piano performances with no resistance.
