I truly would not wait until the day of the actual show, or else you're at least 99.9% likely to be too late. So I would buy tickets as soon as I possibly could if I were you!

If you're pressed for cash, most likely it'd be best you if you just got the cheap seats. It's better than not going at all, am I right?

dude, look at the picture from the last time they went to Houston....

you see the banner over the door? You see what it says on the corner of the banner?

It says "SOLD OUT"

My suggestion to you is to just get tickets in advance, if possible, because I have a feeling that you might miss out if you're gonna wait to literally the last minute.

They're having 2 shows this time, so be careful ;)

I don't mean buy them the day of the show, but could I just go up there right now or whenever they go on sale and buy them?

I've been able to do that for the previously cancelled concerts here in Cincinnati. I also called the box office for the Columbus concert in order to specify seat numbers. Pretty much any box office will sell tickets directly once they're released. Ticketmaster and online sites are a supplement, not a replacement.

Yep! You can go up to the box office any time (as long as they are open) and get tix. You can also just call the number listed here to find out about the box office: http://www.videogameslive.com/gallery/flyers/houston_email_2007?full=1

Please don't wait though... Last year over 1000 people tried to buy tickets on the day of the show and some traveled great distances only to be turned away. :(

This year we're doing two.. but the quicker you get the seats the better they will be!

See ya in July!!!!!!!

I already have tickets, and am now aching to know what to expect (yes, I have viewed the videos). Is there a way to find out the intended program for a date. I understand most would be "subject to change", but since I already have paid up, I really would like to see a general roster of the scores that are planned.

Can anybody help. Thanks.

Hey Brainiac, are you going to the Columbus show?

If you are I would love to get their if I can. Unfortunately I live approximately three hours away in Youngstown, OH. That really sucks! Does anyone here have a similar problem and if you do how did you fix it?

I have been looking at sites like MapQuest™ and Google™ Maps to find quick ways of getting there. I even have a TOMTOM™ to navigate around somewhat but I'm talking about a THREE HOUR DRIVE, A THREE HOUR DRIVE. (A reference to Giligan's Island) So if anyone has any suggestions then I would love to hear them. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. Bye!

Yep, I'll be there, along with three others. We haven't quite worked out how this is going to work yet, though. Apparently, at least two of the other guys need to be back in Cincy Friday, so we may have to drive back immediately after the concert if we just take one car. However, between meeting up with another friend in Columbus and not particularly wanting to be in a car until past midnight, along with the fact that I can take Thursday AND Friday off from work, I'm more inclined to stay in Columbus and head back the day after the concert. 'Sides, it'd be nice to see the old stomping grounds again!

Anyways, it's a two to three hour drive for us as well (I live a little north of Cincinnati, so it's closer to two hours for me personally). I've made it to Columbus and back on a full tank of gas. Three hours isn't all that bad. If you really don't want to drive it yourself, look into mass transit; I'm sure something like Greyhound or Amtrak can get you there and back.

It turns out I won't be going to the one in Houston, for the person I'm taking can't get off work due to a catalogue thing he'll be doing pictures for at that time.... so we'll be going to the one in Dallas! And Dallas is sooner AND a heckuva lot closer to me! Whee!!

Seriously, I was really happy to be at VGL last year when it came to Houston, but yeah... pretty expensive considering gas, hotel, eating, hooke.... I mean, ticket prices! :)
