It seems like the spambots found their way back here...I've seen like 4 in the past few days. Why do they always come to this forum? :p

The spambots seem to be getting smarter... defeating our shields...raiding our villages.

As for why? Probably because we're a relatively trafficked site with a forum that doesn't have too stringent an anti-spambot measure in place. plus, with the previous allowance of huge spam, this site might have been tagged as an opportunity to be spammed again? I'm now conjecturing.

EDIT: Also, we don't actually have a CAPTCHA system, so that doesn't exactly help.

But yeah, a captcha or better bot catching systems would be nice. Just so I don't have to come on here and have random people try to sell me handbags or shoes. xD

Mods do a good job though, keep clicking that red triangle to report 'em.

And I have to admit, this is the first time I see 'em and the mods were way too fast.

Well, Myrph does a fine job eradicating these pests when they appear. Or whoever else is still admin-ing these days (Themo? Orionsaint? spt1224? Tommy?).

There is definitely someone else out there assisting me, as I've received spam reports whilst I was asleep and by the time I get round to them, they're already gone!

Judging by activity dates, MissFae and Themo seem to be doing quite a lot behind the scenes. :)
