With all due respect, but what does this has to do with video games?

I think you'd be hard pressed to not call the current generation of iDevices portable games consoles. In addition, the faith and funding he put into Pixar, allowed them to revolutionise 3D computer graphics technology, something which I think almost certainly set the first paving stones towards 3D graphics for video games.

I'm happy to let this stay here, unless people feel particularly bothered by it (in which case PM me).

I can mention a great number of people that indirectly contributed much more to the VG industry, and I would not mention them here, unless a VG topic brought them up.
Anyway, don't take me wrong. Even if I'm really not an Apple fan, I feel sorry for the guy, and would give my respects to anyone who knew him, but I really think this, if anywhere, should be in the General Discussion area. If you wish to keep it here, I won't be bothered too thought.

I'm not a huge Apple fan like a lot of people, but I have some of their products (including my slightly glitchy but useful Ipod Gen. 5).
It is pretty sad, though. We need more great innovators and incentive for them to innovate.

I also got an iPod and an iPhone.

*Looks sideways at Universities directive boards*

Meh, it's relevant to some extent.
