View Full Version : Happy birthday Game Boy Advance!
10 years since it was first released on Japan.
Those were happy days. Oh time, come back to me.

Oh man how I loved my Game Boy as a kid.
Super Mario Land and Tetris were the best.
Dragon Warrior Monsters and Pokemon were really brilliant.
And I had the Super Game Boy cart as well. I remembered being so amazed at the games being on the big screen.
(Heck! I still like it. I was playing Space Invaders, (the second one. With the powerups and the bosses. Awesome, Awesome game! :D) on the Super Gameboy I just recently purchased (I got me a Snes recently)).

Woah, I still consider it to be a recent system. I still have my original Game Boy and my GBC. Although, maybe I'd consider GBA to be a bit older if I had it from the start instead of getting it only when the GBASP came out (coincidentally when Ruby and Sapphire were released ).

I also still have the Super Game Boy! What's more fun than drawing random stuff all over the screen and changing the color scheme of the games? :D I can't really think of many other people I know who even knew that thing existed...
I liked doing the color modifications that the guidebook suggested for some games, like Link's Awakening.

Agh, I remember my trip into town to pick it up on release day. The excitment of wanting to play Konami Krazy :D
