There is a distinct lack of fighting game music at VGL and Guilty Gear is the series with the greatest soundtrack. It is all based in rock and with an orchestral backing as well Tommy Talico's Guitar that came out during One Wing Angel would make a great segment.

I second this. Guilty Gear music would make my year.

I was so disappointed last year because they didn't do ANY fighter game music. Or Castlevania for that matter, but that's a whole other issue...

Please use some Guilty Gear music!

I think that Momentary Life (Baiken's theme) would be a great track to use for the show.

I don't like it. As I've said to other people, not suitable for the show. MAYBE if they include it in the opening retro game segment, that'd be fine, but unlikely as a whole segment.

They couldn't really fit it in the retro medley since, you know, Guilty Gear isn't retro.

MAYBE if they include it in the opening retro game segment, that'd be fine, but unlikely as a whole segment. Not sutable for the show?!?! What part is not suitable? The part where the music is incredible, or the part where it's from a very popular video game? Or perhaps the part where the latest game was released in 2008 for the PS2 and the Wii?

Just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean that all fighters (a very respectable and immensely popular GENRE of video games) should be over looked.

Retro..?!?! Um, last I checked retro meant older games, like from the 80's and 90's.
King of Fighters XII, Street Fighter 4, Guilty Gear Accent Core, Arcana Heart, Blue Blaze, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, etc. What do they all have in common? They all have release dates of 2007/2008. Yeah.... The very definition of "retro."

If there is ONE huge segment missing from VGL, it's that they don't have ANY fighter games represented. Oh, sure, they dedicate half the show to CPU games, and it seems almost the other half to freakin' Halo, but no love for fighters?!? That made me more than just upset when I went to the last show. It made me feel like I was being forced to watch one HUGE freakin' commercial for Halo - having it shoved down my throat. I almost just got up and left. It made me sick. Hopefully, this year will be better...

I really think Guilty Gear (and fighters in general) deserve a place in VGL. The series has one of best soundtracks in the genre.

Dizzy's Theme would be perfect live.
