Hey guys,
If you love Video Games Live, you may also be interested in our concert.
We have music from video games as well as anime. It's strictly Japanese-based, and we call it Hideo (not like Kojima, though that music is cool too).

Sounds cool. Unfortunately, I'm on the wrong side of the country and doubt I'd be able to make it :(.

Hi Chris,
Hope your show went great and you guys find much success.
It sounds like you guys have the same great goals as us, which is to educate the world on just how fantastic video game music is. We are all in this together and we've all succeeded in making great strides.
I would ask that in the future when someone does press or interviews for your show (especially national ones), that you don't dismiss us as just having a symphony on stage all the time while showing video. (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=130653304)
Anyone who has experienced Video Games Live would tell you that we're a lot more than just that. Aside from the pre-show costume contests, prize give-a-ways, game demos, game competitions and post-show meet & greets... the actual show itself incorporates live interactive segments, characters on stage, creator introductions, funny video interstitials, amazingly talented soloists and/or local video game cover bands and just an overall fun and laid-back atmosphere where everyone (gamers or not) can feel drawn in by the exerience and have a great time.
Thanks again for your understanding and I wish you guys much success in the future! Keep fighting the good fight!
Rock On!
:)
Tommy
