PlayNTrade Franchise

For the past year or so my friend and I have been actively looking into opening up a video game store. I wanted to know if anyone has encountered anything with the PlayNTrade franchise and if not, what is your take on going up against the all mighty Gamestop?

There's a pnt near my house...back when it was ran by someone who actually KNEW how to run a game store, it was really good. If you are serious about it, make sure you do tournaments. Those were the real money makers for the store...the place was so packed that they had to set up 2 tents outside with chairs and tables under them. :p

Not many. In this area there are only local old-style PC and multimedia stores, and there is a Game (UK folks know the franchise, athough the Iberian and the UK stores have different administrations). My town has about 55,84 km^2, and as of 2001, it had a population of 20 993.

Even i haven't see many of their franchisee. I once planned to buy a franchisee but was short of money. Still its a year back thinking..
