So, Piers Harding-Rolls (http://www.screendigest.com/analysts/piers-harding-rolls/view.html), believes (http://www.mcvuk.com/news/40314/Is-Nintendo-readying-Wii-15?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+mcvuk/oXMK+%28MCV:+games+industry+news%29) that there is a new console or at least a recycled version of the Wii coming ahead, and a while after the other two giants are making their way too.

I personally think it is two soon to speculate on the release of a new generation, specially for X-Box and Playstation.
Nintendo opted for a different market approach, but I have to agree that in these days, lack of HD may be a big disadvantage for the Wii. Also, for the Nintendo piracy problems of late, I don't see them go away without system changes. So a new Nintendo system in 2012/2013 doesn't sound to me nonesense.

Definatly gotta agree with you on the wii thing...the lack of HD is why I have not used my wii in a whole year. Why should I play a game that looks like crap when I can blow a building up on bad company 2 and actually have it look real? :p

I agree that a game should be more enjoyable than pretty. But if you buy a big HD TV, you'll probably go for a PS3 or X-Box 360 rather than a Wii.
