I assure you this one is way better than my last, not so successful, Gamer Question.

What are your favorite funny moments from a game? It can either be a scene or something that happened during game play like playing Halo online and etc.


The Mario & Luigi SuperStar Saga is a funny game and there's one particular scene I enjoy the most. I would talk about it, but I don't want to spoil anyone who hasn't played it yet and wants to. The sound kind of lags a little though.

It's kind of strange how well you-know-who can vocally mimic the other you-know-who when you think about it. O_o

There are a lot of those moments. Some of the ones that immediately pop to mind consist of times when I'm playing multiplayer games with someone else in the same room as I am. It's just basically screaming at each other to run away to save one person or another while laughing at how poorily we're faring.

Ah, fun times.

I love the way the Metal Gear Solid series play with the fact that IT IS a videogame. I have just finished MGS4 and there's a scene where Otacon interrupts Snake saying it is time to change CDs. But then he realizes he is on a PS3 and it's a Blu-ray, so there is no need. Snake gets pissed! I love these little things on the series.

It's pretty difficult to think of just one funny moment from a game, as there are so many of them (btw, Superstar Saga was hilarious and I love when Fawful "has fury").
However, one of the funnier games I've played, and one of the most quotable, has to be Super Mario RPG. Some funny quotes from the game:
"What's this...? Water... coming from your eyes?! Are you leaking, my dear?!" -Booster
"Booster, sir! There's a 70% chance that the object you're standing on is a cake!" -Snifit
"Yes, 'Old Wise People' can often give good advice." -Frogfucius
Plus, the whole sequence with the Axem Rangers was great :D

I've also had many hilarious moments while playing multiplayer Super Smash Bros. (any of them), or co-op Rogue Squadron II (often involving the other player speeding past me and directly into a rock, or me running out of batteries on the controller as I'm headed directly for a hazardous object...)

I was surfing through here then this post reminded se of something, speaking of funny moments and Halo.

It's not from a video game, but from a VGL concert.

If you guys hear the Halo Suite, you'll notice a brief pause near the end, just before the part from Halo 3 teaser.

Well, during the concert here in Portugal, a year ago, they were playing Halo suite. And when that part came some people clapped, as they believed that the music was over.

I was sitting next to a friend of mine, and with the enthusiasm and emotion of the moment, we let ourselves go, and stood up, clapping too.

Tommy saw us and with a smile, stretched his arms, and pointed down with both his hands, for us to sit down.
