Upcoming Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

Hey guys, This annoucement just caught me in surprise. Not for being a new PoP game, but for returning to "The Sands of Time" saga.

Btw, does any one knows if Ubisoft is giving up in the 2008 saga? That would make me really disapointed as it is one of my favourite games in the series.

Anyway, I "fear" for the game.
"The Sands of Time" saga was finished. To be extended, I fear to be a plot mistake. When stories are forcefully extended tend to lose quality. That's why they decided to recreate PoP once again with the new saga.

What I'm saying is I don't think it counts as part of the Sands of Time canon.

It belongs in the movie universe. Granted this is based on Sands of Time, but that doesn't mean anything - it isn't literally Sands of Time.
