Winnipeg Event Info?

A group of friends and I already got our tickets but I noticed there isn't any info on the boards for the date here. Can I expect some details soon?

My friends and I have also just picked up our tickets for the Winnipeg show. I never thought in a million years it would come to Winnipeg and once even planned a road trip to Calgary just to see one. That trip never panned out but now I'm stoked for this show!

So I'd definitely love to hear any kind of info on the date as well. Anyone?

EDIT: Also, I just gotta say, with his show being so close to the release of MGS 4, you just know we'll get to hear some orchestrated MGS. Hot Damn.

Hmm...I'm wondering: How'd you get tickets but not know the date of the concert? Or is it that you're all just looking for official confirmation of the date on the website?

Sorry I didn't type that right. I meant to ask if there is any info on the tour date here not the actual date itself. So stuff like pre-show events or whatever because I know the guys at AYB will be really interested to hear it.

Ah. I see. Well, most of the shows generally run in the same kind of format. Doors usually open about an hour to two hours before the show actually starts (so if the show starts at 8, the doors might open at 6 or 7). This usually gives time for people to explore pre-show events, whether it's the costume contest or other interactive games here and there.

As for after the show, there should be the usual events that also take place (I do believe meet-and-greet, although I may be wrong on that one since the last meet-and-greet I went to was before the show).

I guess for details, you can check on the main website where it says "Festival" and wait for more specific details to come your way (such as featured composers, specific events, Street Team stuff, etc.).

Hope that answers some of your questions! It would be great, of course, to get other sources who've attended a more recent concert.

and in addition to all of the above, we invite fans who are interested in helping out to volunteer to help us run the preshow. Those that do, even get a VIP only invite to watch the rehearsal.

Details about things like special guests, composers or premiere games are usually released about a week or so before the show.
