First off, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed the Edmonton show you guys put on this year. I was able to talk some friends into seeing it with me and they all loved it. I appreciate that you recognized that alot of the people at the Edmonton show may have seen last years show, so you changed up alot of the songs, including the encore.
Looking towards the future, though alot of the people in the following tours will have seen the show before and want to see more new songs and performances. Ive noticed several times on this forum people have been requesting the song from Halo 3, One Final Effort. I think this would not only make a fantastic addition to the show, but it would be very worthy as an Encore song.
Whenever I hear it, it brings up strong feelings and excitment that only the best of orchestrated music can provide. Additionally, it has such a wide assortment of instruments used within it, including Piano. It would be cool to have Martin come out and play with the rest of the band.
Even if it isnt an encore, I really beg you guys to consider working it into the show nonetheless. It is such an amazing piece and it represents all the core elements of what Halo is about. I hope the rest of you feel the same about this as I do.
