Super Smash Bros. Melee

The opening theme would be perfect for VGL, because it's already orchestral, and has a great video to it anyway, so I wouldn't mind if they kept the original video. It's awesome music, I don't know of anyone who's played SSBM and not liked the opening video.

heh! I was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee ealier this evening and I thought a similar thing - but about the PokeMon Stadium music. All the music is good though! :)

They should do the opening music followed by the "Smash Bros Great Medley" from the "Smashing Live" CD.

I think Super smash bros. Melee and Brawl are the best choices to play for it..Melee has been made already and was put to a CD. But think if you guys (orceshtra and conductor) can do This?. its a great addition to play.

but then the pro blem with this is the footage...
i mean i noticed most of the melee scenes are at Mario bros. theme.

but still have time to think about this one.

If they do the Main Theme from when you start up the game (before the "Press Start" screen) then they could just show that video, it's perfect for it as it is.

I really like the new Brawl trailer music done by Nobou Uematsu! I told Mr. Miyamoto backstage at VGL on Friday (San Fran show) that I'd like to get that music in the show. He liked the idea a lot.

so the guy WAS TELLING THE TRUTH *someone posted a video footage of him and its really hard to beleive him, until noW T_T* its a really great idea but once again..only have the time to think about it ^ ^!. PLus well, i know theres alot of people requesting alot of songs, but do what you think its right to play the song that suit best. No matter what, we will all cheer for you ^ ^!

*i guess miyamoto was tired that he just want to be part of the crowd without having to be signing autographs (its too much for him and I respect that ^ ^!* btw is it true Eiji Aonuma showed up as well?

There was a little industry event on that week called the Game Developers Conference.

Lots of game developers. Conferring.

I'd be suprised if many of the industry luminaries in attendance didn't go to VGL.

I would love to hear the Main Theme for SSBB. Uematsu did a great job composing that piece.

And, on the subject of SSBM music, many of the tracks heard in the SSBM Smashing Live! concert were great. Loved the audience clapping in "Rainbow Cruise"! (And how it died away uneasily at the end. :D)

Anything from the Smash Bros series (Smashing Live! concert or The Brawl theme) would be amazing to hear at VGL, though my favorite orchestra arrangement is definitely the Fire Emblem one.

Still, it would be awesome to hear the Smash Bros. Brawl theme! Hope that it's something that will pan out!
