I love the Zelda medley.. but it's missing one bit of awesomeness.. the sailing music! The music in windwaker when you're sailing is one of my favourite bits of Zelda music. :D

The Legend of Zelda suite takes approximately 5 minutes, 5 minutes and the only major music we hear is the main theme. Of course, I'm not saying that is bad, but, man, in five minutes of music they could play the main theme, the dark overworld theme and the sailing theme at least. Zelda is missing, and everybody felt this too. So, it is not needed to add more time for Zelda (although that would be awesome) but to play MORE pieces of Zelda music in five minutes, which is undoubtely possible.

Yes they are great songs!
Also The orchestra medley theme (not sure its actual name)
from Twilight Princess would be amazing to hear live!
The main Zelda song is good but as everyone has said
it be even better to have multiple songs together!

I'd love to hear a new, more up to date arrangement of themes, and a version of the main theme which doesn't sound so... sparse.

They could probably medley together overworld themes from across the series pretty effectively, and Windwaker's sailing music would be really nice as part of that.

This I agree with. It's the one arrangement that I'd heard before and it was slightly disappointing to hear. Great to hear it live, but still somewhat underwhelming. A new arrangement with new games in the series would be nice.

Windwaker has some great music, so you should involve some of that in the show.
Another suggestion, Nintendo made a zelda medley for brawl, wich you could use cus it's a very good piece.

Actually, Zelda isn't so much an RPG as an Action Adventure. :P

Zelda has great music. It is just not enough to play the main theme. What I really like about the game is these ones:

- Intro music (game selection screen)... you know this hypnotic simple theme
- Ocean Theme, it's just great, love it (could be my favourite too)
- Link to the Past Ending, fantastic
- Hyrule Castle (Link to the Past), great one too

The last three I listen to quite often from ZRE0. I guess the most accessible for people who don't know Zelda is the Intro and the Ocean Theme. Hyrule Castle is quite dramatic, but it works best after 40 hours of riddles and fights - a grand finale. If you do not have these memories, the theme loses a bit. Same is probably true with the ending. But then again - nearly everyone knows Zelda and many people have played it so playing these great pieces would make many people - including me - very happy! ;)

The Ocean Theme is THE BEST Zelda music piece! :D What really surprised me is how you can actually see waves in the base score when you transcribe it! Might be pure coincidence, but it has a Bach touch to it... go Kondo, go. E-a-d-e-d-a... I wonder how many people understand this base score is about waves without having played the game.

I also love the Title Theme Redux by ZREO! If any of you haven't heard it yet and like Windwaker, go listen... NOW! :)
