Is there a way to buy the specific soundtracks played at VGL, especially on 10/19/2007 in L.A.? I am looking for the tunes from classic games (Rastan, Gauntlet, Ghosts & Goblin), Conan MMOG, Civilization 4, and Frogger.

Also, is there a detailed list of the specific soundtracks?

Not sure exactly what you're asking for... VGL are planning on releasing an album of some songs they play sometime during the beginning of next year...

Otherwise if you actually mean are there soundtrack albums available of the segments played, it depends! Civ4 I believe doesn't have a soundtrack, however you can download some MP3s from amazon, or they can be found in the sounds folder of the game.
The classic games don't actually have soundtrack CDs (i mean to say, who would buy a CD of 'bleeps and bloops' as Tommy calls them!) however there are several websites where you can download MIDI files of the songs, eg www.vgmusic.com, which has a massive selection of songs from many games on many systems arranged by the online community.

Other games, such as Halo, Final Fantasy, and to a certain degree Mario and Zelda have soundtracks you can buy or download.

Not of the MIDI ones in arcades, old consoles etc. It is amazing how they sound in symphony and live. Would love to hear them again on CD, MP3/WMA (no DRM please), etc. :)

Unless you can find other groups that have actually done symphonic versions of these songs, I guess you're gonna have to wait for the VGL soundtrack album!

Failing that, you could try ripping videos from Youtube and converting them to MP3, however its often more bother than its worth due to poor quality and other interference.
